Bristol Palin gets reality television program.
ormer vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin's daughter, Bristol Palin, has received a new reality series on Bio Channel, the network said Monday.

The as-yet-untitled series, which will chronicle Palin's effort to settle into Los Angeles with her son Tripp while working at a small charity and living with her pals Kyle and Christopher Massey, is scheduled to begin airing in late 2011.

In addition to her prominent role on her mother's TLC reality series, "Sarah Palin's Alaska," Bristol served as a contestant on "Dancing With the Stars" -- where she first befriended co-contestant and actor/rapper Kyle Massey -- last year.

1. I am sure there will be millions watching this young lady.
There will be many more millions not watching her. Guess which viewers are the intelligent ones?

6. Working at a "small charity". How appropriate.
That's all the charity her mom and her family have for anyone.

7. Let's face it
90% of the people on reality TV (and i am being conservative) don't deserve the attention.

8. Maybe, Just Maybe
teen girls who watch this show will see how hard it is to raise a child.

Unless they hide the child.

18. Those girls make Snooki and the Jersey Shore gang look like a tea party
and the fact that they're on the cover of gossip magazines all the time just glorifies teen pregnancy. You then end up having more girls getting pregnant underage because they think they could be famous too - just like Octomom did with multiple birth pregnancy.

20. And yet the solution is always to teach abstinence.
:eyes:

I'm reminded of that Seinfeld where they try abstinence and George becomes a genius and Elaine's an idiot - I wonder if it's true?

14. Isn't the whole families life at this point one reality TV program
so why not cash in if some network is dumb enough to pay for what is sure to be yet another totally non-watched show.

21. And the story that she was going to go to college there?
Heck, how about a reality show called "Bristol Goes To College"? She could milk that for 8-10 years, and when it's done she would at least have a degree to show for it.

16. i don't think she's her mother's daughter.
she seems to do things contrary to her mom's values . . . a child out of wedlock, rooming with two men of color . . . doesn't seem very palinish to me. or at least not the image her mom tries to project.
