GOP Freshmen Admit To Playing Politics, Ask Obama To Stop Doing Same
The plea for civility comes after Obama and other Democrats have pounded House Republicans for supporting a GOP 2012 budget proposal that would privatize the Medicare program for future seniors, forcing anyone under 55 to buy health coverage from private insurers when they become eligible for the benefit.

Democrats vowed to remind voters as often as possible that House Republicans voted for the controversial proposal by Rep. Paul Ryan (R-WI) which is meant to cut the government's soaring spending on health care but would change Medicare radically. And so they have.

House Republicans have been hearing from frightened and angry constituents who fear what the proposal could mean for them or their middle-aged children.

7. Next up for the Republican House
HB 2112, Repeal of the Goose-and-Gander Principle. What's good for the Democrat goose is most decidedly not good for the Republican gander. There will be an amendment proposed that Turnabout is Not Fair Play.

12. Time for Democrats to remember the old political adage...
...to wit: When your opponent is drowning, throw him an anvil.

Seriously, politics is hardball. Democrats, please, I implore you, redouble your efforts to tie these yahoos to their votes to end Medicare. Make as much political hay on this issue as humanly possible. Be merciless towards them. Give no quarter. It's the only sensible move politically.

15. I just hope "bipartisanship" doesn't rear it's ugly head
At least not here anyway. This is straight up how the political game is played. It's called holding Congress accountable.

This isn't even like those town hall meetings in '09 over the HCA. Those people were all hot and bothered over a flat out LIE! This is just the truth. They DID vote for that fuching budget and the people need to know that.
