O.K. they are no longer cute kids and are now young teens and a little awkward but worth seeing ...
the big one just ate a whole fish.

..... and now the kids are so big ..... what a really great site.

Mom or dad just brought them a trout. Easy fishing @ the state hatchery

3. Two Good Reasons To Hate The Eagles
1. Don Henley left the band and Joe Walsh looks less like a badass and more like my grandpa now.

2. They have Michael Vick.

4. I looked in on them just yesterday. They were hard to see
because they were up at the "top" of the nest and hunched over some sort of food. I take a peak right now, thanks!

6. I do!
I check in on them every day. Soon it'll be hard to tell them apart. I saw E1 start hopping while doing his/her wing-flapping exercises yesterday.

So sad what happened at the Norfolk nest, though. The mom got hit by a plane and they decided to move the three eaglets to a raptor rehab facility since it was felt the dad wouldn't be able to feed them enough on his own. The dad had already lost his mate and came back to the nest with a fish only to find his 3 eaglets gone, too. :(

The Decorah family is doing fine, though. I love watching them.

7. Nice to see all three growing up
I was kind of worried about #3 for awhile when they were little, he/she didn't seem to be able to get a lot of food.

8. Cooperation, not competition, is winning...
I stopped watching because so many said there was no way all three would survive; they'll attack one another or do other cruel things in the quest for their own survival. That's nature.

I'm so grateful and inspired to hear stories of them actually helping one another periodically, and all three still thriving.

Predators cooperating. Surely humans can do better?

:applause:

12. After all the warnings about the bigger one killing off the others
I was a bit nervous but I'm delighted to watch all three thriving.
This has been an education for us.

16. In the FAQ right under the video, it tells of this same pair raising and fledging THREE eaglets in
'09 and '10. So, the info was there, rather than the scare tactics of some DUers.

I hadn't seen them in a few days - amazing change! They may not be quite as cute but they are still beautiful and fascinating.

17. In Iowa, I'm pretty much
eagled out. These birds are beautiful but the hit numbers on the webcam were the lead story in the news for weeks.
