Rush Limbaugh Claims THE BLACKS Teach Their Kids To HATE America

" On his radio show today, Rush Limbaugh claimed that all African-American parents teach their children to hate America.


After ranting about Hispanics supporting Democrats, Rush Limbaugh explained why he thinks all minorities will eventually support the GOP. Limbaugh said, “We are a party of converts. Once upon a time, ladies and gentlemen it was an indisputable truth that Southerners would never vote Republican. It was also an indisputable truth that Catholics would never vote Republican. Now the bad news for the Democrats regarding Hispanics and Blacks and any other minority that they pander to is that eventually people get tired of being forever doomed to being helpless and poor and downtrodden. At some point everybody ultimately wants to take their fate in their own hands.”


Limbaugh then claimed that African Americans teach their children hatred of America, “Now, I know what you’re shouting at me. Wait a minute. This hasn’t happened in the black population. Yeah, it hasn’t. I think that’s a special consideration, and I don’t see the same set of circumstances existing with the Hispanic population here that existed with the black population. We’ve never had Hispanic slavery, for example. We do not have institutionalized hatred of this country being taught in Hispanic households.”


According to Rush Limbaugh the reason why African-Americans don’t vote Republican is because African-American children are taught by their parents to hate America. This means that all African-Americans hate America. Barack Obama is an America hater, so are Condi Rice, and Colin Powell, just to name three.

The very few people I've ever known who liked Rush - and this was a long time ago - were vile racists.

This was as recently as today, when he said again that only Libs divide people by categories, as he went on to say that Hispanics in Texas vote for Rethugs.

He wants to cite "a time when it was an indisputable that Southerners would never vote Republican." Of course, we all know now that the South is pretty solidly Republican, so they MUST have converted at some point, right? Right??? Wrong.

Back when Lincoln freed the slaves, most of the newly-freed slaves became Republicans (the Party of the guy who freed them). And in their narrow-minded hatred of all things Lincoln, the Southern landowners (translation: whites) joined the opposition Party. So, first of all, if Rush wants to claim that the Republicans are, "a party of converts," then the Democrats must be a party of converts too, because, as he is saying in this thinly-veiled racist screed, "the blacks" ALL vote Democrat.

Now, let's follow history forward a bit. Entering the '60s, the Southern whites WERE going by the name "Democrats," but they were nothing like the Democratic Party as we know it today. They were known as "Dixiecrats" and featured such screaming liberals as Strom Thurmond. Another point Rush fails to mention: when LBJ passed the Civil Rights Act, every last one of the "Dixiecrats" (aka white, southern racists) joined the Republican Party. In fact, upon signing that bill into law, LBJ actually made the comment, "I think we have just delivered the South to the Republican Party for a long time to come." And he was right. THAT'S why the South is solidly Republican. NOT because the people who live in the South had some sort of "moral awakening" and realized that the Republican Party served them better, or that they converted people over based solely on their good ideas. They're Republicans because they're racists. And NO other reason.

But I can see why someone like Rush would be proud of that. Or ignorant of basic U.S. History. Or both.

That's about as big an indicator of racism as the phrase, "I'm not a racist; I have black friends." It's a "tell," like in poker. Anytime you hear someone say that, they're racists.

I thought Limbaugh's rant sounded familiar.

I despise how he characterizes the democratic party as enablers for poor people. This is where conservatives are such amazing believers of fantasy. They think that if everyone just works hard and becomes an entrepreneur they can become rich. They don't believe that any unfair advantages exist. They actually believe that people chose to be poor.
