If it was the good guy, rather than the bad guy, who had his brains coming out of the eye socket instead of behind the ear, would Inhofe be talking about the entry and exit holes as if there was not the slightest indication which was which?
Is it a good thing that politicians of both parties attempt to not disturb what is left of our national self-image mythology?
Or does it not matter?
Or should we actively construct an alternative new national ethos to inculcate in our citizens the notion that when we are dealing with the bad guys, what we value in America are results, not such "trivial" matters as whether the bad guy's entrance holes are in the back, front or side of their head, whether or not the bad guy had already been downed by a bullet to the chest, whether or not the bad guy was armed at the time, what the helmet cam did or did not record, and perhaps, while we are at it, what methods we use to obtain intelligence to get those results?
