Waukesha Goes after the disabled
http://www.politiscoop.com/component/content/article/35-last-24h-news/283-waukesha-goes-after-the-disabled.html

Waukesha Country Wisconsin -- Let the political games begin when you file an American with disabilities complaint against a county that Scott Walker and an incompetent county clerk tried to steal an election in. Apparently Mr. Jeremy Ryan got the attention of the dynamic duo when he made an appearance at the counties recount just a few weeks ago.

It was at that time -- as he tried to enter the proceedings to witness the recount on his mobility device (a segway) it was then that law enforcement was ordered not to allow him in on it. Officials wanted to place Jeremy in a wheel chair so they could look down upon him rather then allowing him to stand on his segway.

After making such a complaint -- Waukesha County took exception to that fact and decided to put out an all points bulletin to bring Jeremy back to the county for an ordinance violation. Today in Madison Wisconsin police arrested Jeremy for this ordinance violation at what was to be a large protest in opposition to the king. What a travesty it is that empowered officials can abuse the privileges bestowed upon them to try and intimidate someone who is standing up for their constitutional rights.

Whoever put out that APB on Jeremy is nothing but a lowly coward or repugnant minion of Scott Walker. So we can assume the games have just begun. Remember my friends and injury to one is an injury to all. If you would like to help Jeremy with his legal battles against Scott Walker and his repugnant republicans please visit -- Defending Wisconsin and contribute to the cause. Jeremy's arrest will be aired on youtube later this evening.

1. an apb for an ordinance violation?
what is he supposed to have done? Waukesha is a seriously bad place in many ways. I know there are a lot of good folks who live there but I don't know how they stand it.

3. I spoke with Jeremy about half an hour before his arrest....

...at that time he said he was considering action against Waukesha County for denying him access to the recount observation area. Arresting him on an ordinance violation is bizarre, but the citizens of Waukesha County can afford a whole lot of police protection.

In the early 90's I lived in Waukesha County. One night some vandals knocked off our mailbox. When my wife called the police they sent TWO DETECTIVES out to investigate.

Not beat cops, but detectives. Not one, but two. I was amazed. The last time I had called police was for a car break-in in the city of Milwaukee. They didn't send any detectives out to investigate. They didn't send any beat cops out to talk to me. They just gave me a case number to use for my insurance claim.

So the People of Waukesha County can afford lots of police, but using them to chase down Jeremy Ryan was a mistake. The cops who tried to deny him access to the Courthouse for the recount already looks like this, now some more County officials can join him...
