Factory closure draws scrutiny of NJ's biz climate
The company's announcement in early May has underscored statewide concerns about the cost of doing business in New Jersey and incensed public officials who say they were led on a wild-goose chase to find ways to keep Ocean Spray in the state. Gov. Chris Christie has made strengthening the state's business climate a central theme of his administration.

1. Unemployment has increased under Chris Christie
And businesses continue to abandon New Jersey.

Republicans might talk about how much they like Christie but when their money is involved even they realize what a complete buffoon Christie is.

BTW, property taxes in New Jersey, already the highest in the nation, have risen at record rates under this idiot, Christie, too.

2. Businesses leave, they do what they do for any number of reasons
from squeezing another 5 cents out of a dollar to chummy politicians offering favors or promises. The idea that any state, city, or country can always attract a business or sweeten the deal to keep or attract them is ridiculous.

Big business is playing their game of gimme gimme gimme or I'll take my toys and go home, there is certainly room to make some offers but to bend over backwards and give them free reign over everything and anything they could ever want is foolish.
