New Gallup Poll Shows Romney-Palin Tossup for GOP Nomination
New Gallup Poll Shows Romney-Palin Tossup for GOP Nomination

"Think about how she must view developments of the past few days: two people who were outpolling her have chosen not to enter the race. Absent Huckabee and Trump (always a farce, but even Slate bought into it late last month ), Sarah finds herself rising to the top by default.
To Sarah, this likely seems evidence that God is, in fact, opening the doors for her and sending her a message that she is His chosen candidate, the Christian leader best prepared to wage war on the secretly-Muslim darkie who occupies the White House."

The above is written by Joe McGinniss, author of "The Rogue," a soon-to-be expose' of Palin. By the way, I just read Geoffrey Dunn's new book, "The Lies of Sarah Palin," and I highly recommend.

Dunn paints Palin as the lying, back-stabbing, dangerous bitch she is.

3. The winner of the republican primaries will be:
The one who spits the most hate toward gay people
The one who spits the most hate toward any non-white American
The one who spits the most hate toward non-Christian Americans
The one who spits the most hate toward poor people
The one who shouts loudest that Obama was not born in America

Trump showed how much the republican party base loves the racist red meat.

This will be the most racist campaign American has ever seen. It works for them.

4. I don't know
I think the whole M$M birther thing is over and probably won't be brought up in this election.

8. They invoke the names Herman Cain and Allen West to cover their tracks.
Just like they love Uncle Clarence and he loves them.

6. McGinniss is missing one thing
She's greedy and lazy. She will have to work too hard for (in her mind) too little cash. After all, she can make $100,000 just stand up for 20 minutes and say nothing.

12. Mittens does not have a chance because the xtian teabaggers
will not support a Mormon and Falin is already washed up and lost most of her credibility. But I would more than enjoy seeing Obama hand both of those clowns their asses on national Tv.

14. This is good news for John McCain.
Oh sure, a lot of folks here on DU are putting on a very brave front about the idea that Sarah Palin could run the table in the Republican primaries and become the Republican nominee to run against Obama in 2012.

But, lets face it, we'll be in a real panic mode if this happens. In fact, there are posters at FreeRepublic who are on to us and think we really are scared to see this match-up. So, nice try, DUers, but we'd be HUGHLY in trouble, I'm series!!!!1!

17. Ms Palin couldn't hack it as governor of a state with the population of Charlotte NC, so I can't see
how she could hack it as Prez of these Untidy States

I expect about 70% of US voters will agree with that argument the first time it's made, and another 15% will agree when the argument is repeated sloooowly and politely, so I don't see her as much of a threat

In fact, if she's the GOP nominee, I think I'll alternate between feeling really sorry for the GOP and falling down laughing uncontrollably
