It was Tweety leading the cover-up for Ahhhnuld, accomplice in fake media

Stay with me.

Tweety was a renegade to us beginning with the Fake Impeachment and definitely through Campaign 2000 when he was a de facto Shrub operative, then a Shrub-licker throughout almost all of those eight years including cheerleading in the run-up to the Iraq Attack. And through it all, he was trading off of being called a Lib when he was supposed to be matched up in debates with wingnuts. He was who performed the public execution of DONAHUE on DONAHUE's own show, saying, "This is why Americans hate you Liberals because you never can saying anything good about this country." That's a paraphrase, but very close.

It wasn't until OBAMA that he quieted his wingnut side down.

Through those years, he announced his real roots, that his parents were "cloth coat (Rethugs)" and that basically the main impetus in his politics was not political philosophy but rather ethnic, Irish Catholic pride when JFK came on the scene.

So there we have the link for Tweety: the KENNEDYs.

I distinctly remember the travesty of the California recall, then my disgust (again) with Ahhhhnuld (previously, for having injected his Rethug self into our Dem icon family through Maria, whom I didn't excuse), this time for his opportunism in reaping the vacancy that Darryl ISSA paid for for himself.

And there was Tweety. Not that he is a force, but it was him on the wrong side of us again. There were actually some dedicated FIGHTING Dems in California talking about going all out against Ahhhnuld and digging out all of his sordid past. There always are some Dems anywhere who would like to FIGHT TO WIN, but somehow our Dem leaders and mouthpieces always seem to stifle us. So I distinctly remember Tweety setting up the "dirty politics" and then looking fiercely into the camera and dictating, "THEY'D BETTER NOT!1"

So when Ahhhnuld held his victory night speech, there was that empty stage, then the doors opened and all these preppies in suits poured out onto the stage, and Tweety said, "HERE COME THE KENNEDYs!1"

So it was all about the KENNEDYs for Tweety. Tip's dictum, "All politics is local" ought to be "All politics is personal."

My point is my outrage that the media is complicit in foisting these a-holes on us. They did it during Campaign 2000 when they declared hands off of Shrub, no hard questions for Shrub, no investigation of his putrid history, all tear down the Mean GORE.

And with Ahhhhnuld, there were reports of the gropings, there was old history about his drugs and sex, but no, he's a movie star with that "compelling personal story" that media a-holes just love. So this LIAR Ahhhnuld got to play his most acting role. Maria has never been blameless for me, but that's a separate topic.

3. Did anyone watch Tweety back then? I know I didn't start
watching his show until 2008! I find it hard to believe that Tweety considered Arnold a Kennedy though. I'd have to see that clip with my own eyes!

5. Why is Matthews liked around here?
"Tweety" repeatedly spewed lie after lie about Al Gore.
Chris Matthews could not say enough bad things about the anti-war activists when the photo-op of the Saddam statue was taken. Matthews could not say enough bad things about Chirac and Schroeder for their opposition to the war. Matthews was drooling over the draft dodger Bush in the flight suit.

8. Because Tweety's done a 180, and he's filling the Olbermann vacancy that left a
huge vacuum behind.

I barely recognize the man from 2001!

6. I also remember the nearly homoerotic interviews Tweety did with him
before the election and in the first couple years of his governorship. Tweety wasn't alone, of course, because Russert was just as sickening with his fawning questions and his seeming desire to work out with him and have Arnold snap him with a towel in the locker room. But Tweety was plenty bad.

7. You are sooo right. Line for line, you're correct in everything you've written
and I applaud you.

The unwanted "guests" here are unrec'ding your post. They no likey you tell the truth. It hoits.

I gave my rec, but it disappeared in a sea of unrec's.

THEY CAN'T HANDLE THE TRUTH!

These days, though, Tweety has become a second Keith Olbermann. There's fire in his words, and he goes ALL OUT against the Republicans, calling them stupid, even.

I think he got butt hurt when Bachmann "disrespected" him during the 2008 elections and again last November.

Tweety takes things personally. I also haven't seen Pattie Buchanan on his show for the last, what, year now? He used to be on Tweety's show each and every night.

As a native Californian, and having watched the witch hunt of Gray Davis when he had absolutely NOTHING to do with the manipulated energy crisis (he didn't even sign the friggin REPUBLICAN deregulation bill that helped Enron come in and gouge Californians of our $8 billion surplus!), but he was made to pay for it, thanks to California's corporate media that kept suggesting Gray Davis was the cause of it.

9. Exactly. K&R
I remember when the groping stories bubbled up and how they were ignored or discounted in the media. It was disgusting.
