Louisiana, Nebraska, & Alaska
These "Dems" spread their legs for the actual government, Big Oil, and the campaign contributions forthcoming. Pardon me, Ben Nelson is pure republican. I don't think Nebraska has much oil.

1. On Ben being Republican.
He won't be reelected here, of that I am most certain. I wish he would read the writing on the wall and do what is right, not what is politically expedient. But that would presume that he knows what is right, and I have grave doubts on that count.

In truth, he would be a Republican, but it's far easier to get on the slate as a Democrat here. Want to get into politics? Nebraska is your place. You won't win, but you'll get on the slate.

3. Really, I think we have seen Ben side with the Democrats for the last time.
He will be a part of the Republican bloc until the end of his term. It's strategical, don't you know. For that reason, I won't be too sad when the poll results come in. I'm hoping for a Republican who isn't entirely insane. Dim hope, but I hope nonetheless.

4. VERY dim hope here, I'm afraid. I mean, who did you have in mind? Stenburg? Bruning?
Fire and brimstone maniacs, both.

6. I just called the D.C. offices of these three so called
Democrats. I asked each one of them what kind of Democrat they were for supporting the subsidies to the oil companies and it was obvious they were bought and paid for by the big oils companies. I said they were an embarrassment to their state and to the country. Landrieu's aide was very snippy and said the Senator didn't take campaign donations from the oil companies and then hung up on me. LA must be so proud!!

9. So you think it is rude behavor to question why a
Democratic Senator would vote FOR oil company subsidies, who BTW, don't need the subsidies. And it is rude to mention that the reason for this vote was because the oil companies have donated big bucks to their campaigns? Why don't these senators just change their party affiliation to R? Also, how much oil do they have in Nebraska?
