Fla Gov Rick Scott wants his name on "Welcome" signs.

Scott campaigned on saving the taxpayers money every way possible. He promised new jobs and started by firing hundreds of state employees and turning down the high speed rail project. Now he wants to add his name to all the "Welcome to Florida" signs on roadways coming into the state at the estimated cost of $8800.

15. Unfortunately there are a lot of Republican voters who believe Faux News...
Many elderly people don't even realize it's legal to lie on news programs.

Sad what's become of this country.

3. Just like in New Jersey
the signs said, "Welcome to New Jersey, John Corzine Governor".

for some reason the sign in South Jersey wasn't as you exited the Walt Whitman Bridge but instead as you exited Camden.

2. Uninspiring Democratic nominee

3. Lowered African-American turnout caused by many in Democratic establishment abandoning the Democratic US Senate nominee (an African-American) in favor of a white guy running as an independent.

24. Yow! That was stupid.
Funny because I was thinking about Alex Sink today, and how invisible she was.

I plead stupidity, but that's not an excuse. I'll have to think of one. :hi:

23. That's got to be $8800 per sign, right?
Note to FLA from IL: This sort of excess gets extra embarrassing when your governor gets arrested.
