He caused this, he wasn't born to it. If he had a different last name then that name would be the one with the alternate meaning.

My last name has a meaning other than what I am comfortable with. I live with it and I (along with my family members) did nothing to earn that name.

Rick brought this on himself and he deserves to labeled with it.
