It's raining in Colorado.
There has been a slow, steady rain all night long and continues this morning.

How is your weather?

Colorado has had a very dry winter in many places. There was a lot of "winter kill". Many trees and lawns died out as people did not water. Strange since the east and the Mississippi River Valley are still struggling with the rains and floods.

(Everybody can talk about the weather) :hi:

1. It hasn't stopped raining in Cleveland
It rained 27 days in April and month to date it has rained 17.

It is news here when the sun does shine. But then this is Cleveland.

2. Sick of rain,
Here in Mid Missouri, we've gotten too much rain. Farmers are struggling to get into the fields to plant, which means that we're all going to have higher food prices coming down the road.

It has been unusually cold, and wet, hampering a lot of my activities outside. Dropped down to the upper thirties the other night, in Missouri, in the middle of May:wtf:

Looks like it is going to rain again today. We just barely get dried out to the point where you can mow your lawn, or haul mulch or such, and it rains again.

Sick of rain.

5. In Michigan it is still raining
Edited on Thu May-19-11 06:07 AM by sandyj999
There is a low pressure area that just keeps circling around and every time it goes to the east coast it picks up more water. It has been a horrible spring here and I am just happy this isn't snow. I can't even remember the last time that I saw sun.

8. At present...
I live in Colorado Springs. Our candidate for Mayor just lost to a Karl Rove money-backed developer by a margin of 57-43%. I have raised cain here for several years.

9. My poor dog.
He hates the rain. He will hold it for hours to avoid getting wet. I'm not sure how much business he did last night. I got out of bed a few minutes ago & was relieved to see it stopped raining long enough to get him out. Also, water has leaked through our basement window. That always happens when we get this much rain & I say to myself, "I've got to caulk that window," & I forget until our next massive rain. ;)

:hi:

13. Winter storm advisory on the western slope
Very large snow pack has not even started to melt and more accumulates with each storm. River flows are going to be drastic this year and predictions for 92,000 cfs in Cataract Canyon west of Moab exceed all records.
Lake Powell may get filled again.
