So Armagedon is coming

At six PM (they finally answered it, starts at six YOUR LOCAL TIME... I guess carrying the day was too much and time zones), I'll be pool side... and next day we are going out for brunch... (for real) sorry for not being able to join the post rapture party... but we are going to have a good day in our own way.

Of course I am going straight to hell for shopping and not fasting and praying... (and it is THE SABBATH, tripple wammy) but I was going there anyway.

Any other good post apocalypse activities to pencil in?

live broadcast of the Rapture Happening. Get on camera interviews with various rapturees and build up the suspense to RR (Rapture Ready) Hour. Then they could do the post event analysis...what the hell went wrong?

I'm collecting some old clothes to leave in piles along the drive and walkways to her house... and a few more on the patio by the bar... spilled drink; dropped plate of hors d'oeuvres.

I'll be waiting to hear their story come May 22! That's when things will get interesting... all the backpeddling... or silence... or reiteration of the story so we need to send more money 'cuz Jesus was too pissed to call us all up this time... so we have to pray and send money to change his mind!

as we received planned electricity outage notices from 8:00 PM May 21 to 1:30 PM May 22.

FWIW One of my neighbors is the local Assembly of God (hard core Pentacostal) pastor (and I like him though he is batshit crazy).

He doesn't think tomorrow is the rapture. Also I found out that AOGs are not cannabals like Catholics in that their wafers and wine are wafers and juice and they believe metaphors not transmutation to flesh and blood. Once I gave him a cartoon of two Earling astronauts meeting aliens on another planet. The Earthlings first question was "Do you know Jesus?". The Aliens response "Jesus came first two thousand years ago and comes back every two weeks for a visit. We give Him chocolate. What about you?"

Regardless, I get his hot tub, riding lawn mower, and they just bought a fancy new propane BBQ. He told me to give him a week gone before I take possession. The worst is that now I will have to mow my own lawn and maintain the mower. Plus I have an apartment over my shop / garage / outbuilding and the best cleaning it gets is each summer when their daughter, SIL (another AOG pastor, and grandchildren come to CA from Virginia come each summer for one or two weeks. Plus his wife gives me treats and presents.
