Anything is possible. Nancy Pelosi is ready to lead in the effort to retake the House and protect SS and Medicare.

better messaging. They let IMO a lot of opportunities go by when good one liners would define the republicans and put them back in their box. Maybe the dems have toughened up some, gotten more clever and realized the republicans are NOT their compromising buddies.

3. We are on the same wavelength - don't forget that the repukes
will have about half of the country's GDP to spend to win - 24X7X180 commercials twisting and lying will be hard to beat.

5. I only wish that excited me. Even with both houses and the exec branch
most legislation was ruled by Republican principles. I'd be way more excited if the possibility of strong liberal Democrats overwhelming Blue Dogs and Republicans was a possibility.
