1. Just an obervation...
There are only white people in heaven, apparently.

9. Yeah
Like it should shock anyone that the mostly white rapture crowd sees things this way. Of course maybe they think everyones soul is white or something stupid like that.

12. I love this one
The ignorance of George W. Bush is eclipsed by the subject matter.

7. Well no wonder the plane crashed into the building...
no one was left to fly it after the pilot and co-pilot were both called to soar to the pearly gates.

10. Biblical stories about The Rapture state that only 144,000 people will be absconded with.
Out of 7 billion people, 144,000 would hardly be noticeable, certainly not enough to cause traffic wrecks and wild fires and the like. Not to mention that they'd all likely be Buddhists in Tibet or something. Probably not Texans driving down the freeway in their SUVs at any rate.

13. In a thousand years, art historians will look at these images and talk about

what such imagery and ideas said about this culture. That so many would be so anxious to leave the world behind says to me that there are a lot of people who are very afraid of life and of the world around them.

14. Agreed, but this is not a healthy culture right now
because so many people have completely lost faith in the institutions that used to sustain us and have absolutely no hope that things will change for the better, ever.

Hell, I wish I could buy into the rubbish myself, from time to time.
