Question About Tomorrow
Will the zombies be slow zombies, like in "Night of the Living Dead," or will they be fast zombies, like in "Dawn of the Dead"?

I just need to know so I can plan out my strategy. For example, should I wear shoes for distance running or for sprinting?

1. If you plan for fast zombies you will be prepared for slow zombies.

3. Not Really
Just like the training regimens for sprinters are different from those of distance runners, the preparation for slow zombies is different from the preparation for fast zombies.

8. Just Don't Look "Zombiefied" And Help Me With A Flat-Screen TV And All Will Be Cool
There's a guy down the street who has this major-league flat-screen TV. And I know he'll be gone because he's got a Jesus fish on his car along with an anti-abortion bumper sticker. Help me lug it back to my house and we'll hole up and watch the carnage in Hi-Def. Just don't start looking like you're decaying in any way and it will be cool.

4. Read Your Bible
The Bible says that when Jesus comes back to Earth, the dead will rise from their graves. That means zombies. And we ALL know that the Bible has been 100% spot-on on ALL of its OTHER predictions, right? Right?

On second thought, don't read your Bible.

5. You didn't study pre-rapturization in school?
These folks will be floating up instead of walking around like zombies. Air traffic controllers are gonna have a fit!

9. Point of clarification
The original "Dawn of the Dead" had slow zombies. The Zach Snyder remake had fast ones because he didn't understand that the 'dead' movies were about humanity. It was ok as a horror movie but it was as strong in social commentary. The fear of zombies is the fear of mobs, disease, and inevitability. It is that sort of horror.

10. I Always Thought George Romero Was Known For His "Fast Zombies" Innovation
However, I must admit that I never actually saw the original "Dawn of the Dead." I have seen most of his other zombie movies, though.

I read an article a long time ago praising George Romero for the "invention" of the "fast zombies." I think it was around the same time "28 Days Later" (another fast zombie movie) came out.

11. Aww hell no
Romero's zombies were classic slow zombies...they could do a sudden lurch for ten or so feet if needed but they were not fast zombies. Fast zombies are only stupid adrenaline scary, not really horror. Romero made the best zombie movies... and they didnt need to be fast as cheetahs. (which is dumb as hell by the way)
