1. I imagine most of the crazies are jobless, so don't expect a surge of openings.

3. Then again, if we remove them from the numerator (number of unemployed)...
as well as the denominator (number of all who could
be working), then the fraction gets smaller. So the
Rapture is good news for at least this one economic
indicator.

2. Absolutely zero effect IMO
God allegedly said something along these lines that a "rich" man entering through the pearly gates of his Kingdom of Heaven, would like a camel going through the eye of a needle, or similar? So anyone in the US who has A job, IS comparatively wealthy to literally billions of the truly impoverished on the planet. So why would these holier than thou, pious people who have money, believe that they will and deserve to be "raptured"???

4. Hey if the loud Jesus freak asswipe at work disappears at 6:00 tonight,...
...that would be considered a "positive effect".

It wouldn't result in a job opening because, and you know the guy, all he does is preach and bitch about Obama so there isn't really a "job" to fill.

5. Good point
Though it won't help with the jobs in India and China. Most people there aren't Christians. They won't lose many. But every one helps!

6. Well, IF the Rapture does occur today,
I would guess the rest of the Bible may be true too.
The wealthy with tax breaks will create jobs and in the Bible it says something to the effect:
It is easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than it is for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven...

If the rapture happens, employemnt should improve!
