California has term limits in both legislative chambers so I've thought about running for state senator once the guy in my district is termed out.

3. Well, your screen name certainly
gives you an advantage amongst us Boomer Geezers. ;-)

I've run for things within the Democratic Party (awhile ago) but not for public office.

4. I was Senior Class President in high school.
Probably doesn't count for much, though. Not much of record to run on...in 1977 the biggest event we held was a huge Senior Skip Day party...best attendance (or non-attendance) ever. Only three Seniors showed up for school that day. It's probably not a great platform to run on, though.

5. I've gottne a few friend to and help run their campaigns, but not personally.
It is a serious commitment, especially if you also have to keep your day job while you run for office.

6. I was 6th grade President of my grammar school, and Senior Class treasurer.
Won both elections in a landslide against my opponents.

Had to give a speech on the PA system to the entire school and everything.
