Ideology an issue for Wisconsin GOP in Senate race (by Scott Bauer AP
via Guardian)

The WIGOP is holding a convention this weekend at Wisconsin Dells. This article was amusing to this Badger, because the WIGOP certainly have the ideology in their racist hearts-they are looking for a frontperson with the charisma of Hitler. Tommy Thompson and his eugenics pals like Charles Murray are passe here in battleground Wisconsin.

Below is the first paragraph of Scott Bauer's article about this "issue" followed by the link-what does DU think about this "issue"?

"Wisconsin Republicans looking to win a U.S. Senate seat that's been in Democratic control for more than 50 years are facing an ideological idenity crisis as they wrestle with what type of candidate they want to field for the open spot."

1. The Club for Growth has weighed in against
Thompson.

Let them eat their own. They will be so busy fighting that any Democrat who campaigns hard, and gets out the vote, can win.

Encourage them to fight among themselves. Go ahead, Wisconsin repubbies. Lose everything, starting with the recounts.

2. This has become a Red State with a Tea Party appointed radical "royalty" transferring power

that is rightfully (including rights and democracy) the domain of we, the people to their royal $elve$. I guess that's old news now, except to those of US that are organizing resistance and countermeasures here. The Wisconsin GOP is racist to the core, it carries the agenda of corporate fascists and the constant stream of lies or smirking silence when asked questions from we, the people are but one more indication of the arrogance of these pretenders to the throne of FitzWalker. If that's not remarkable to DUer's today I can easily speculate why.

Kick.

3. Walker tells state GOP to focus on Senate recall elections (5-21-11 Milwaukee Journal/Sentinel
article by Jason Stein and Tom Kertscher)
"Gov. Scott Walker told Republicans at their yearly convention Saturday to keep their eyes on the Senate recall elections, claiming that national labor unions would spend $20 million to $25 million to help Democrats in those races..."
