Minireactor in works at Westinghouse!

A prototype of a smaller nuclear reactor was presented with new energy legislation at a news conference with Reps. Jason Altmire and Tim Murphy at Westinghouse's Corporate Headquarters in Cranberry.

Minisize nuclear reactors that power individual neighborhoods -- and can be situated near them -- could be designed by Westinghouse and licensed within 10 years if legislation introduced by two Pennsylvania congressmen Friday becomes part of an upcoming national energy bill.

Errant pedestrians never feel a thing in the year 2011. With everyone working only ten hours a week because of the miracles of nuclear powered everything, people have nothing to do but hang around all day. But, they clog up the skyways and are always getting in the way. Oops, there's another one. Dang, worse than squirrels in mating season . . .

After a century of unfulfilled promises, flying cars may fill the skies in the next few decades. There are still some obstacles to overcome, including receiving approval from the FAA, but the cars are close to being finished.
