Another country finale on American Idol - what a surprise - NOT

Pia Toscano and Haley Reinhart WERE the best singers in this years top 12 & it wasn't even close, IMO...Yeah, and it doens't hurt that they are very attractive either...See, that's a definition of what a POP star is supposed to be a good singer & attractive ie; Katy Perry, Avril Lavigne, Lady Gaga, etc...

You can pretty much predict the Idol finale in Feb., look for country singing contestants and/or contestants who reside in the south...

This is the first one where both of the final 2 are touted as country singers. The closest would be the Carrie Underwood/Bo Bice season where you had a country pop girl up against a Southern rocker.

5. That's what I think as well.

Why not Scotty? He is talented and perfect for the market segment he is supposed to appeal to. He's young and appears to be non jaded, so why not Scotty?

I quit watching when Casey was eliminated, he was my favorite.

I am mesmerized. Yes, I freely admit I watched the show this season. It was a good season with a lot of talent, hard to figure who got voted off some weeks. Pia was very good, and so was Haley. I'm going to take a guess that its going to be Scotty all the way.

And once again, I am not a country music fan. I didn't watch Carrie Underwood. But when Scotty McCreery sings I can't look away. His will be my first Country Music CD, whether he wins American Idol or not. Love that smooth deep voice. I hope he sings Wichita Lineman.

I've got Carrie Underwood and maybe Taylor Hicks. The rest aren't.
