COLUMBUS, Ohio — A woman who claims that she was raped by a hospital employee said on Friday that the medical center failed to investigate her claims.
The woman, whom 10TV News is not identifying, said that the hospital failed to investigate and allowed her alleged attacker to continue working.
The 53-year-old handicapped woman told police that she was raped during an exam at Mount Carmel East Hospital in March.

"She said, 'We did our own investigation and we found nothing to substantiate your claim,'" the man said. "My mother (said), 'How did you investigate because nobody has called me to find out anything and I've already turned over my underwear to the police and they haven't even got the report yet?'"
http://www.10tv.com/live/content/local/stories/2011/05/20/story-columbus-mount-carmel-alleged-rape.html?sid=102I have been to this hospital many times. My mom died there, best friend did as well, been there myself for treatment, X and her hubby have been there, etc - only reason we have went there and not elsewhere is how close it is. It is a crap shoot when it comes to care. Either you get really awesome people or folks you wish you had never met.
For the good people working there - thank you for all the wonderful work you have done. For the others...well let me just say I am not surprised at this news story.
