Roger Ailes’ Albatross: The IDIOCY Of SARAH PALIN

:smoke: :smoke: :smoke:

:applause:

A New York Magazine article has blown the lid off the problems at Fox News, and exposed why Sarah Palin will never be the darling of Fox News.

" The New York Magazine piece quoted a Republican who is close to Roger Ailes as saying, “Roger is worried about the future of the country. He thinks the election of Obama is a disaster. He thinks Palin is an idiot. He thinks she’s stupid. He helped boost her up. People like Sarah Palin haven’t elevated the conservative movement.” Ailes problems with Palin were fully detailed,

" But as Palin contemplated her political future, she began to worry that being a celebrity pundit on Fox was potentially at odds with her presidential aspirations. Last year, tensions between Palin’s camp and Fox erupted over a prime-time special that the network wanted her to host. Nancy Duffy, a senior Fox producer, wanted Palin to host the show in front of a live studio audience. Duffy wanted to call the program Sarah Palin’s Real American Stories. Palin hated the idea. She complained to her advisers that she didn’t want to be a talk-show host. She wanted to just do voice-overs. More important, she didn’t want Fox to promote her name in the title of the program. Not that it mattered: Palin’s ratings were starting to disappoint Ailes anyway. Fox hasn’t scheduled any additional specials..."

The article confirmed what has already been reported. When Palin ignored Ailes’ advice and released the blood libel video, she forever damaged her standing at Fox News. Everyone will focus on the fact that Roger Ailes thinks Sarah Palin is an idiot, but this piece reveals both that Palin has always had every intention of running for president, and that she intended to use Fox News as her personal propaganda machine. Sarah Palin’s decreased standing at Fox News has been obvious for months. Palin has mostly been relegated to the wasteland that is Fox Business, hanging out with BFF Greta Van Susteren, and Saturday nights with Judge Jeanine. She pops up on Hannity once in a while, but she is not seen on Bret Baier, and her appearances on Bill O’Reilly have decreased.

3. I'm truly torn. Anything that gives Roger Ailes agita makes me happy.
But how can Sarah Palin make me happy?

4. Get real. Sarah Palin cannot handle the pressure of a questioning media.
And she can't get anywhere as a serious candidate without subjecting herself to them at every turn.

Conclusion: She will not be running for POTUS.

5. excellent article, including many of the comments. loved the whining idiots. here's
a very good example of the typical fox viewer/pug voter, from the comments section:

Faux and talk radio have rallied close to 100 million know-nothings of the demographic whose electoral map from 2008 exactly matches the slave-holding states map of 100 years earlier. These are believed worldwide and taught in the schools of our allies to be the stupidest people on the planet, who have rendered the US ungovernable while completely wrecking it with their perfect representative G. W. Bush. The poliltical party they took over is the only one on the planet which exists only to destroy its own government/

I was raised among these rednecks and know there is no bottom to their willful ignorance and spitefulness toward "libruls." They have voted away their own middle class just to be mean, too stupid to even know or recognize their own economic interest. They only look for the next hot thing to hate, all the while posing as "good Christians" as long as its only a harsh, judgemental Talibanist desecration of the religion.

7. I think Fox more and more appeals to a small sector of conservatives
and less and less about Republican party. They cover people like Suckabee and Palin like they are wildly popular among American Republicans yet they are both fringe candidates within their party. Like they cover Paul Ryan's budget and busting Unions like they are wildly popular ideas when they aren't. I think 2012 we might see a return of the underground Republicans that have tuned out Fox and RW radio because they don't talk about shit even republicans care about.
