GOP Senate Hopeful thinks people should be implanted with ID chips...
So he can keep track of all of us, I guess. Yikes! This guy is a whackjob! In 2005 he was on the board for a chip company.

1. If you read the whole thing he only ever said it was for medical purposes and not
that people should be forced to have them put in.

9. Sure
However, unless we program the chips ourselves, who knows what else they might stick on there and/or what somebody else could do with it. The possibilities for such technology seem kind of chilling IMHO.

11. I would be in line to get one of those chips, to be honest. I am allergic to
morphine and codeine and I hate wearing those medic-alert bracelets because I just don't like having anything moving around on my wrist. I just don't like wearing bracelets, they bug me. So a chip would be pretty useful in my case. I mean, you never know, any of us could get into a bad car accident and be unconscious and if we have any allergies to common medications given in emergency situations (like morphine) we could end up with anaphylactic shock. So I could see this chip having some useful (and non-malevolent) applications.

7. That's a great idea. How do I support this guy?
You can implant chips just like you do to dogs and cats. :tinfoilhat:

8. And I think they should be paid the median income of the
lower 60% of the US population. Include the homeless and unemployed in that calculation.

I don't see either one happening though.
