Mushroom compound suppresses prostate tumors

I sure hope this pans out.

A mushroom used in Asia for its medicinal benefits has been found to be 100 per cent effective in suppressing prostate tumour development in mice during early trials, new Queensland University of Technology (QUT) research shows.

3. Modern medicine has been investigating and often using old remedies for a long time

That's really not new. I think aspirin is probably the classic example.

The problem is that most of what's old doesn't prove to be useful when it's carefully examined.

From daily, personal experience. Natural remedies do work when one is educated as to what to use for each purpose.
