America’s toughest sheriff office ignored sex crimes, report says.

The little boys and girls told authorities about the adults who molested and raped them, only to be ignored by the office of the Toughest Sheriff in America.

This is surely what happened in at least some of the 400 sex-crime cases that Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio’s office mishandled, according to a well-publicized investigation of the Sheriff’s Office that was reported in the Arizona Republic.

And the sheriff knew about them. ....
