DU3 will have support for mobile devices. I'm not sure what more would be needed. Certainly not one-click posting from your device, I hope.

My computer is on the fritz and cheching sites that aren't mobile friendly is narly. .especially with auto correct :rofl:
And viewing stuff sucks...just trying to read and get the zoom just right...do I sound like a brat for complaining...? :)

4. An app could take up fewer phone resources.
Most website apps are just easier ways to use the basic functions of the site without having to load a full browser, fight with virtual keyboards, and all that stuff. Yeah, it's not that big a deal, but it makes it a little easier on user and phone.

And I LOLed at your last line, btw. :rofl:

12. Yeah, we are!
I was laying in bed last night listening to music and playing Angry Birds on my IPod while checking email on my laptop and organizing photos on my cell phone. I started wondering why I even had all three, since each of them can do all of those. :)

Where the heck was your iPad.. can't believe you weren't playing angry birds on the iPad.. listening to music on the iPod, talking to Grandma on the iPhone, and typing up a report on the laptop. ;)

11. I don't have a smart phone so I can't check out the mobile version
of DU3. Thanks for the laugh, though. I envision some app for DU that lets people post nonsense here with just the push of a button. That would be a huge mistake for DU, I think. Facebook? OK. Not DU.

Removing the filter of the few extra clicks could make it even worse! :rofl: And since no one can type on this darned tiny keyboards, you'd see "Dde id youuu see oBams hget it was awesome palin is straking in her voots!"

put "Tapatalk" on it. It's this application for smartphones that's like 4.99 so you can access Tapatalk-enabled forums, and if you don't have it, it pops up incessantly -- a mobile phone popup basically being a Windows dialog box. if you're on one it goes "This forum is Tapatalk enabled! Click here to learn more (Yes) (No)"

I hate it and honestly -- refuse to use it, and actively avoid a site if it does it more than once within a reasonable period of time.

25. That's why I love Ricochet Infinity.. People make new levels all the time
I also replay the Old Luxor games... I get the new ones too but they are so loaded up with graphics , they are distracting..

20. DU3 has a functioning mobile version.
I've never liked DU on my Android, and was a bit bummed when the original DU3Preview site didn't accomodate them either, but the latest version has mobile device detection built in and automatically reformats the page for small screen devices. It's very nice.

A dedicated app would be even more responsive and save on bandwidth, but I agree with others here in that it's not really needed. The mobile-friendly web interface is very modern and does everything we need it to do.

32. I was just reading Firstlight's tribulations with her bank and that is why I am surprised she has
this kind of phone. I think a lot of these gadgets are not necessary and just consume valuable resources.
