Sisters’ spat over computer turns nasty

Siblings often squabble over who gets to use the family computer.

But one sister took a fight too far last night, Kansas City police say, by allegedly stabbing her younger sister in the leg.

The 15-year-old victim suffered a one-inch wound on her thigh, and other minor injuries, police said. The 18-year-old suspect remained at large.

The incident occurred just before 10 p.m. in the 2900 block of the Paseo. Police said the sisters were arguing about who was going to use the computer when the older sister allegedly broke a third-floor window and used a glass shard to stab the victim. The victim’s grandmother learned of the fight and asked a family friend to go to the home and check on them. The friend showed up and found the sisters still fighting in a bedroom with their “arms around each other’s necks,” according to police reports. He pulled them apart; the suspect left.

but then, I've always made sure that they each have
their own computers....

She said, "give them to me". I said, "make me." She hauled off and punched me in the nose. She got her pants back, but she couldn't wear them because they were covered in blood.

My mother had six of us- 5 girls, one boy. Often she would just tell us to go outside and kill each other. We didn't take her seriously, we're all still alive.

If it's out of the norm enough it makes them stop and reconsider their actions. Or not.

They are all WELL trained in weaponry including knives and the middle one is skilled with a sword. If they ever decided to seriously go at it the aftermath would NOT be pretty. Fortunately they all have their own laptops. :evilgrin:

I doubt the "suspect" got her chance on the computer.

Result - a broken arm.

They weren't even fighting - that time.
