Minnesota paper puts Pawlenty presidential bid on obits page
A local Minnesota newspaper placed its report on former Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty (R) formally jumping into the 2012 presidential race right next to the obituaries.

The Monday edition of St. Paul Pioneer Press offers a small dispatch of Pawlenty's speech on the same page and directly next to the local obituaries.

Another local Minnesota paper, City Pages, began an item on the St. Paul Pioneer Press's placement of the Pawlenty story by saying, "Tim Pawlenty's presidential campaign is Dead on Arrival."

6. Carlson, a Republican (I believe) former governor, slayed Pawlenty
He said exactly how Pawlenty "balanced the budget" through accounting maneuvers, and other nefarious means such as using the stimulus from the Federal Government to offset the state budget instead of trying to stimulate employment in the state. He also mentioned that Pawlenty also "borrowed" millions from the fund to help poor people and their health care needs.

I think many Republican governors must have done this and that is why they are moving to cut Medicaid today. They spent the money to assist poor people with health care needs in favor of other "priorities" -- such as pursuing means to make them look like Presidential-candidate material. This is starting to look like a real pattern.
