We need to establish and maintain a Disaster Superfund
Argue all you want about cause and cure, but the fact is global warming is real and it is the catalyst for more frequent and more severe storms. Natural disasters are an absolute certainty, yet the federal government always seems surprised and unprepared when there are wildfires in the west and tornadoes in the south...every year! And with our aging infrastructure, not-natural disasters are likely too.

That is what the Yearly FEMA budget is for... Now if you want to increase it...remove all the Republicans that are trying to gut FEMA even further than the 62% that they removed from the budget just last year.
