NY 26 - An Element No One Has Talked About

All the news reports dwell on the uprising over Ryan's Medicare destruction plan and how this drew out voters, particularly elderly. Well, I noticed something in addition at the victory gathering last evening. There were a lot of guys wandering around with T-shirts that definitely had "union" logos on them. In other words, UNIONS are getting their members out because of the nation-wide attack on workers. The Repukes have grandma coming at them from one side wielding her frying pan and blue collar working white males packing heat coming from the other side. All they have left is rich people. (Oh, and their lunatic Tea Party will lob off the lunatic fringe)! It's a perfect tornado bearing down on them....unless we stupidly deflect the tornado and help them out........

At this point I will do anything I can to encourage the tea party. They will be unable to generate more than 10-20% in any one race, but that shifts the entire playing field. Democrats will have a much lower threshold to win. Watch for GOP-dominated legislatures to start fiddling with the election laws (like my state and others are doing with voter ID, etc.) to try to correct the damage. They have gone from "keep the government out of my Medicare" to "keep the Republicans away from my Medicare."
