I wish he would run for Governor of Wisconsin, but my feeling is he's not going to run for either governor or senator.

Great new numbers out of Wisconsin!

Public Policy Polling, 5/19-22, 1,636 registered voters, MoE 2.4 (February numbers in parenthesis)

1. Do you approve or disapprove of Governor Scott Walker’s job performance?
Approve: 43 (46)
Disapprove: 53 (52)
4. Would you support or oppose recalling Scott Walker from office before his term is up?
Support: 50 (48)
Oppose: 47 (48)

5. If there was a recall election between Republican Scott Walker and Democrat Russ Feingold, who would you vote for?
Feingold: 52
Walker: 42

7. Would you rather that Democrats or Republicans had control of the State Senate?
Democrats: 50
Republicans: 42

In February, Kohl was leading any of the Republicans PPP tested against him by seven to
15 points, and in December, led Thompson by nine. Now Thompson tops Rep. Tammy
Baldwin by one and former Rep. Steve Kagen by three, and ties Rep. Ron Kind. But
Feingold puts him away by ten points, 52-42. Feingold is better liked than Thompson by
independents and has better numbers within his own party, so he wins with independents,
49-40, and earns 91% of Democrats’ votes and loses only 5% to Thompson, while taking
8% of Republicans and keeping Thompson at 87%.

1. Wow, I so hope this recall effort is successful.
Wisconsin so badly needs someone like Feingold in there right now, its not even funny.

It had better be successful or we will feel the wrath of Walker
who will then finish destroying Wisconsin before his term ends.

3. Reality check: Feingold will never be elected president. He figured that out in 2008.
I'd really rather have a Democratic nominee who had a chance to actually win the election since that is the point.
