The Only Policy That Seniors Will Get With Their Ryan Voucher Will Be A Sham Policy
First, Ryan and the Republicans would allow health insurance cos. to write policies across state lines.

Second, in essence, this would deregulate health insurance cos. entirely because they could set up operations in a deregulated state or even offshore and sell health insurance policies to seniors.

Third, when the seniors make claims with the health insurance cos., these companies will simply declare bankruptcy and avoid all liabilities. They won't be required to maintain fund to pay off claims because they won't be required by law to do so. (See Point 2 above).

Fourth, they will re-incorporate with another name and start the sham all over again.

2. Preaching to the choir.....
The only reason Medicare exists is that the Ins cos wouldn't cover seniors at any reasonable rate.

If we want them (and us, when we get there) covered, it has to be a gov't run system.

And not a 10% discount coupon from Wal-Mart.

3. It's such a scam. A pull-the-ladder-up ploy.
See, us seniors already on Medicare will keep it.
Yea for us!
:eyes:
It's the folks just a few years behind us that will get the screwing.
They've paid into the system all their working lives and they'll get bupkis.
:-(

We geezers should be fighting this just as hard as those a few years behind us.
What's fair is fair.
