Fox News Chairman Roger Ailes feared being bombed by ‘those gays’
Source: Raw Story
By Eric W. Dolan

Roger Ailes, the President of the Fox News Channel, had bomb-proof glass installed in his office because of fears he would be attacked by gay activists, according to a former colleague.

Dan Cooper, a former managing editor at Fox News, told Rolling Stone that Ailes insisted on having bomb-proof glass installed in his second story office windows in Manhattan.

"They’ll be down there protesting," Ailes allegedly said. "Those gays."

Ailes worked as a media consultant for Richard Nixon, Ronald Reagan, and George H. W. Bush before being hired by Rupert Murdoch in 1996 to create the Fox News Channel.

1. Not surprised
I think a lot of their worldview is fueled by paranoia and fear.

4. For What It's Worth
There's something happening here
What it is ain't exactly clear
There's a man with a gun over there
Telling me I got to beware
I think it's time we stop, children, what's that sound
Everybody look what's going down
There's battle lines being drawn
Nobody's right if everybody's wrong
Young people speaking their minds
Getting so much resistance from behind
I think it's time we stop, hey, what's that sound
Everybody look what's going down
What a field-day for the heat
A thousand people in the street
Singing songs and carrying signs
Mostly say, hooray for our side
It's time we stop, hey, what's that sound
Everybody look what's going down
Paranoia strikes deep
Into your life it will creep
It starts when you're always afraid
You step out of line, the man come and take you away
We better stop, hey, what's that sound
Everybody look what's going down
Stop, hey, what's that sound
Everybody look what's going down
Stop, now, what's that sound
Everybody look what's going down
Stop, children, what's that sound
Everybody look what's going down

8. Fairly presumptuous of him.
I don't think anyone would get up the energy to do anything to his pompous ass.

He seems to be helping the Republicans destroy their own party, however.

At least that is the direction things are currently headed, partly because of his efforts.

10. Hopefully, someone who likes him ...
... (as hard as it is to imagine such a person existing) will convince him too seek mental health care.

He said bad words about Palin and he's probably afraid some of her idiot followers will take a shot at him.
Blaming teh gheyz for their own dumbassery is pretty much natural for the right.
