. . .she has never been held accountable for her racism. This bothers me to no fucking end. It actually just shows that wingnuts have a license to do whatever the fuck they want.

12. No, first he called her a slut and then repeated talk slut to cover his mistake.
This is a derogatory word men use to put down women. He had many other choice words he could have used, instead he tried to demean her as a woman. A woman I can't stand, a woman I would call a
fucking idiot, but not a slut, or a whore or the cunt. Is this what it comes down to on our side when we don't like someone????

I am a bit cloistered so I am asking, does this word now have more power than other just as widely use slurs? I never thought it as a nice word, but I guess I never really found it to be a nastier word than tramp, whore, loose, etc. when used to describe a woman who beds many men. The c-word always seemed to a vile word, does "slut" now compare?

They want you to turn on Ed. Then they can squeeze him out, the way they did to Keith Olbermann.

15. i am not turning on ed. i like the guy. i listen to him. i do not think he is perfect.
and i feel he was unprofessional. that is not falling for shit. that is tired of our commentators and politicians taking the low road. i have higher expectation adn expect professional behavior for professional pay.
