I could accept Ed Shultz's suspension easier if someone got suspended for LYING once in a while.

Let's start with being truthful. After that we can enforce "pleasant."

(By the way, I'm not even a big Ed fan.)

14. Thanks. I did find it later, elsewhere here. Then I saw his videotaped statement

last night.

Mixed feelings about this. He's a jerk for saying that. But yes, she earned that insult, in my opinion. Whenever she comes to mind, I can't help thinking - "gee, she had cancer. You'd think going through that kind of ordeal would have made her a nicer person."

You didn't see Rush get a week suspension for playing "Barack the Magic Negro" or mocking Obama's children.

You don't see Eric Bolling getting suspended for tweeting that Obama was in Ireland "chugging 40's" (absolutely a racist dogwhistle. You forgot to talk about eating fried chicken and watermelon, Eric...)

You didn't see Glenn Beck get suspended for that stunt implying he wanted to poison Nancy Pelosi.

But the minute Ed Schultz says "slut", which is maybe 1% as offensive as what the right-wingers get away with on a daily basis, BOOM! One week suspension, threats of firing.
