"which opponents say will destroy Medicare" . . . . It has already started.

"Which some say".."Which, according to Democrats". .

All these weasel locutions absolve our corrupted media from having to GIVE US THE FACTS of what is actually IN the plan. .

"Premium Support" is just another way of saying voucher, discount coupon etc etc.

But as long as the media is DETERMINED not to declare that the Ryan plan will dismantle Medicare for everyone under 55, then the fog will roll in...

1. yes!!!! I am so tired of the meme "it won't affect current
retirees", and the media just moving on, like it is nothing.

Anyone that is 55 and under (such as myself) is going to get royally screwed. Royally. This is a hell of a lot of American citizens, a great number that had a retirement in site, and medicare was part of that planning. The fact that the media is not screaming this from the mountain tops just plain stinks.

3. In other words, if you were 54 and voted for George W Bush in 2000...?
You would now qualify for your coupon. Ten years can go rather quickly when you are older.

2. And we will see spin unlike any we have ever seen on this issue...
No it's not a coupon. No, it's not a voucher. It is money that will create "competition" and "lower prices". Blah...blah...blah...

4. ExACTly!. . Any honest commentator has to be ready to POUNCE on the
weasel words and make them account for what nearly every Republican in Congress has already voted for.

If we give the reins back to this crowd, they will kill Medicare stone dead in an instant.

5. I like coupons from Popeye's and CaptainD's!
And as soon as doctor's offices start accepting them for payment, I'll go along with your POS voucher plan.
