"We repubbies has voted to, um, dump Medicare, so you gamy, incontinent olde geezers will just have to buy your own damn diapers. Unlike us eeleete RepubliCon Senators, who get a special Republicon diaper, um, boehnus."

2. Morning Joe this morning makes me want to puke. They are framing
this as, "Dems see America has cancer and won't do anything and the R's are brave and doing the right thing to save Medicare."

They are saying "we can't ask seniors to go out and get a job to pay for health care..." But totally ignoring that those of us who are 50 at this point, will have to work until we die and probably still go without healthcare because who will insure us since we have preexisting conditions?

Jesus this sickens me. And I wonder how many people will agree that the best way to save Medicare is to end it completely? And give a coupon to you so you can go out and (not) find private health insurance to cover you?

And once we are all old and have no health care, we won't be able to get the good things back. It will be too late.

The other thing they are starting to hammer on is how much military health care is costing. That will be going away next. No health care for dependents. Probably still health care for vets while they are active duty but dump them once they are wounded and when they retire.

That's what I see coming down the road - health care only for the richest 1/2 of one percent. And nothing for the rest of us. Grapes of Wrath style living for the lower 99 percent.

It sickens me. They are effing going to win I think.

I hate what I see happening to our country.

3. Yup. The Republicons will cut veteran health care if they can
Edited on Thu May-26-11 07:38 AM by SpiralHawk
...the Republicons are always looking for sneaky ways to screw our US veterans, while they are loudly braying (lying) about how 'patriotic' they want people to think they are...As the record shows, Republicons dump on veterans over and over and over.

4. Rachel frames it best
The Ryan/ReTHUG plan is to kill Medicare. It will no longer be Medicare - Dems need to stay on that message.
