Good news from Albuquerque.
Jim Villanucci(I think that is how his name is spelled) is a water-carrying right-wingnut radio show host on KKOB which has a big stick. In a lot of places in NM it is the only AM radio station you can get on the dial. If you live in NM, you know what I mean.

Anyway, yesterday his theme was how SS, Medicare and Medicaid was going broke. He kept going on about some graph he had seen, supposedly proving his point. Usually his callers help him with the water buckets, but yesterday the majority of the callers were eating his lunch. I was so happy to hear that many of them knew the truth.

Instead of agreeing blindly, they were saying things like:

"Why don't they eliminate the cap?" "Why don't they increase the tax revenue?" "I have been paying into these plans all my life, why are you calling them entitlements?"

It was encouraging to hear. I think people are waking up. Maybe there is hope out there.
