3. I told Steve Israel the same thing this week.

Unless your opinion is that absolutely nothing needs to be done with Medicare, then it needs to be reformed. That being the case, from a political standpoint, it is irresponsible for Democrats to rest on their success and not offer a Democratic plan going into the 2012 election. That's what Clinton said, and I respect his political acumen.

I am curious.

There are only two, maybe three "reforms" I think any self-respecting Democrat could possible ask for regarding the current program.

And I certainly don't appreciate him giving props to the other side especially lyin' Ryan. Are we to assume then he, too, would dismantle Medicare? And I wonder what he thinks now that he knows he was caught aiding and abetting?
