Edited on Thu May-26-11 03:59 PM by Billy Burnett
They all (except 4 or 5) voted for it. They own it.

Let's call it what it is ...

IT IS ---> THE REPUBLICAN BUDGET PLAN! <---

If you agree, please kick this to the greatest page!

1. That is an excellent point to remember...
So long as it is called the "Ryan Plan", all the others that voted for it can deny ownership.

4. Exactly. Just because our corporate media are side stepping for the GOP doesn't mean we should too.
IT IS THE REPUBLICAN BUDGET PLAN!

Rinse & repeat.

And try and save their own lilly white butts.

6. you are right. i didn't think about it that way. when we call it the ryan plan, then ryan is the
only one who is hurt by it. when it is the REPUBLICAN plan, which it is now because every republican has voted for it, they own it... they can't just let him take all the lumps then throw him under the bus. thank for clarifying that.

17. NO!!!! The Democrats have finally ALL gotten on board and called it what it should be called.
Either the "kill Medicare bill", or "end Medicare bill"

If you want to call it the Republican plan to kill medicare, fine, but the important part is "end medicare" or "kill medicare".

18. Maybe, but the Republican budget plan they voted for features much more.
People are starting to wake up to the tax code inequities, "free trade" policy, and the preservation of corporate tax loopholes as well as the ending of their beloved Medicare.

The Republican budget plan pretty much covers it all.
