CBS Nooz, are you fucking crazy???
For the second time in three days, CBS has a story about Palin. This time, as preamble to her upcioming bus tour of the east coast, they tell us "nobody can lead the national conversation like she can."

Hey morons . . . her favorables are at 26%. Ya hear that? 26%.

Are you people fucking morons?

1. Couric is getting ordered around by morons at Viacom
and isn't strong enough to tell them she's not going to say that crap.

That might be one reason she's leaving.

3. Come come, there is a good deal of thrashing around trying to find a viable candidate.
Nobody even up to the level of Bob Dole or Dukakis has been willing to step up so far.

Just enjoy it.

35. yeah, I was going to say corporate media
believes that they can sell most of the american people on anything-just like they "sell" us our politicians. I mean they can lie-it appears legally they can lie and only cover what they think catapults their agenda. Just look at the teabagger stories, while millions of people against the Iraq war, didn't get half of the coverage as a corporate fake turf minority that they want to catapult.

My words may not be exact, they are very close in both tone and meaning.

20. OMG, if that picture doesn't illustrate the depth of her stupidity, what would it take?
That's a classic. I remember seeing video footage after it happened & even the butcher with the blood-stained pants kept looking back toward the camera, surely thinking how inappropriate a setting it was to conduct an interview.

But, that would be giving the suits far too much credit.

21. If no one talked about her, she'd be a non-issue.
Even Rachel Maddow goes on and on about her, as if there is some News God in the sky that keeps every Talking Head on the same page.

Meanwhile, the largest group of people, forty percent of all voters, do not consider themselves necessarily Democratic or Republican. It is obvious to many that most in both parties have failed us.

CBS, ABC, NBC, NPR, CNN and MSNBC are like more subtle versions of Fox News.

30. With MSNBC being the very worst of the lot
Why? Because they cloak themselves with honest liberals working for dishonest owners. And even the liberals hold the line when certain topics hit the public discourse.

33. Yes.
The 'liberals' lend MSNBC credence when they really want to put out some vital right wing messaging. They do the same sort of thing on NPR. Bait and switch, or something, a sort of old espionage trick.

You are right. And we are in no danger of believing anything we hear on Fox News but MSNBC might slip us a bit of misinformation if we aren't on guard.

It also helps suck the oxygen out of their presidential race.

31. Republicans/conservatives in general rarely consist of much more than their ordinary
"dirty thirty" percent.

They have never been at a higher fever-pitch than during the Clinton impeachment. I always use that as the "gold standard", and it never got above 30%. When your party takes the ultimate stand of impeaching a president, that's usually when all the faithful show up with their torches & pitchforks.

The press has a conservative default position because of their bosses & advertisers.
