I demand that politicians start wearing corporate logos...

Now that the corporations are free to purchase the politicians.

Judge strikes down corporate donations ban

A federal court in Alexandria, Va. on Thursday struck down a federal ban on corporate campaign contributions, in a case with potentially dramatic ramifications for a campaign finance regulatory system under siege by legal and regulatory attacks.

The ruling, from the U.S. District Court for Eastern Virginia, piggybacked on a January 2010 Supreme Court decision, Citizens United v. Federal Election Commission, that allowed corporations to spend money on ads supporting or opposing candidates.

Citizens United stopped short of allowing corporations to give directly to candidates, but it did find that corporations are entitled to free speech rights.

District Judge James Cacheris ruled that, based on Citizens United, corporations should be allowed to contribute directly to candidates� campaigns.�If human beings can make direct campaign contributions � and if, in Citizens United�s interpretation � corporations and human beings are entitled to equal political speech rights, then corporations must also be able to contribute within (the federal) limits,� Cacheris wrote in a 52-page decision.

2. Yes, that would be appropos.

They might as well have an official uniform with all the logos on them.

We also need to make that flag with all the corporate logos replacing the stars official as corporatism rears its ugly head and sneers down upon us all from its profit-lusting roost situated far above our laws and policies, untouchable and immune to justice as we have thought it to be.

The agenda becomes more obvious and, it should be clear now, we haven't seen anything yet.

One world, under multinational corporations, with veils that cannot be pierced to shield the rich families, with new Lords and Serfdom for all.

Barring massive attempts to throw this Orwellian/Huxley trend off, our McWorld will be owned by the riders on our backs who's wealth and power is increasing astronomically. We are becoming tenants on their world, and you know what happens when you won't or can't pay the rent.

3. What a great idea. On their suits, on their shoes,

on their cars, and one on their wife's forehead.

We are always asking for transparency. This would give let us see where they stand. Hell, we already know that they have no qualms about sticking pins and stickers all over themselves when they run for re-elect. Vote for MEEEEEEEEE.

9. yep, families included here. some of these folks have used spouses to shield their

involvement with companies. hell, they radio contest rules say employees and THEIR FAMILIES can't participate.... families matter here too.

15. They sure do use their families at election time.

Just check out how many times they have pictures of these perfect family. And the families definitely benefit from the bribe money.

Instead of forcing them to wear corporate logos, require "news" channels to identify them as they do now with "D" or "R" or "I" at the bottom of the screen, with the mandatory addition of the percentages of their owners specified:

Rep. John Boehner (R-OH)
45% - Coppertone, Inc. / 18% - Kleenex, Inc.

Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-WI)
32% - Celestial Seasonings Tea, Inc.

Newt Gingrich
62% - Stuckey's Georgia Nuts, Inc.

Rep. Paul Ryan (R-IL)
97% - BCBS of Illinois, Inc.

Truth in Advertising. Hell, allow the companies to advertise their connections, too! ("If you like Viagra, you'll LOVE our senator! Vote for John Ensign!") It'd never fly, but it would make the commercials during "OW! MY BALLS!" a lot more interesting.
