I love how FR is having a collective feargasm over the opening of the Gaza border.
All I'm seeing is unfounded (for the moment) fears of weapons getting through with allusions to the Ho Chi Minh trail and Khyber Pass.

5. May I remind you that Bob was banned here a long time ago?

He didn't even deserve any equal time.

(The DU'er that was Bob, that is)

8. His banning was completely justified, but
his Bob Boudelang column was good nevertheless.

11. He kept posting in support of Lieberman in the CT Senate election,
after Lieberman had lost the Senate primary and was running as an independent against the Democratic candidate Ned Lamont.

It's a pretty serious rule violation here to support a non-Democrat over a Democrat, and much worse if the non-Democrat is running far to the right of the Democrat. He was well aware of the rules but he kept doing it.

Damn I've got a long memory for some of these things. :o

12. No he didn't.

I believe he supported Lamont but remarked that it had been a mistake to spend as much money and effort trying to get him elected over a popular incumbent, resources that could have been spent in races where Democrats had more of a chance. I remember this because I agreed with him.

I guess it all depends on how you interpret his comment about DUers' support of the DLC.

To make things clear before people try to get me tombstoned: I supported Lamont, and even liked him better, but thought that his nomination was a strategic mistake.

14. He posted alot more than just the stuff in that thread.
I remember that I kept alerting on his posts.

You may have shared some sentiments with him, and I may have disagreed with things that you posted, but I never alerted on any of your posts. Mr. Benchly's posts in support of Lieberman and opposition to Lamont went way beyond what the rules of this site will tolerate.

6. Bob Boudelang is a Republican Team Leader...
and so it is a disgrace that some people keep accusing him of shoplifting...
