This bird flew in on its own, landed on the directors truck

Pet siblings missed each other too

11. If you read this- I almost bought a conure. Went to pet store looking into frogs

for my garden and the bird section has this beautiful fellow that had SO MUCH personality- it was conure. I was completely charmed. The idea of having a little buddy like that is so appealing. But the price tag freaked me right out.

Apparently they are a pleasure to train and woe to anyone who doesn't bother training them.

Love to your bird friend.

15. I don't think it's a Conure
I think it's a Quaker
Here's a Quaker (Monk parakeet)

This is a Conure. They can be different colors but this is the conure that looks most like a Monk, or Quaker

8. My favorite:

This photo was taken by Andrew D'Angelo. This is not my photo but it still my favorite reunion. This couple and a baby walked in on Monday kind of defeated and asked if their Australian shepherd was there. I asked if she had bright blue eyes and they perked up. I jumped up to walk them back myself because I knew where she was and they practically raced me there on instinct of knowing where she was. The second they saw her, they both burst into tears just relieved out of their minds that their girl was safe. The group hug between them, the baby in the carrier, and the baby in the collar on the floor of the kennel has been one of the best moments for me in this whole ordeal.
