15. The page's reason for being created was full-on racism....
alluding to Obama and the "n" word and not wanting him re-elected.

The first few comments I read made me feel better, 'cause they were blasting the page itself.

8. Just listened to a public radio piece on how Facebook is no help in getting an obscene page stopped

Someone took writer Susan Arnout Smith's identity and created an obscene Facebook page ... and after trying to contact Facebook for months, they wouldn't do anything. She had to do her own research; she figured out the page was done by kids in another country who went to a Christian school. She wrote to the principals of those schools, who, apparently, got the kids to kill the page (and allegedly disciplined them).

Her story is an interesting episode of "The Story with Dick Gordon" on American Public Media (from WUNC).

48. It's a term from back when the n-word was common in everyday conversation.
I think it originated from an old racist joke, but I always heard it in reference to the staffing levels of any job largely done by Black men. It means exactly what it sounds like it means.

Yea its a racist page, but if Facebook allows that, not much can be done.
I think I read in the past Facebook allows other dubious groups like Nazi pages and so on, so it probably won't be taken down.

If you read way down in the comments you can see someone offering kudos for creating the troll page and him accepting crdit for "hooking" more than a few. Created simply to get a reaction out of people. Granted, from looking at his profile photo, I am thinking he was trying to hook more racists than angry responses.
