Can't use search, so I am asking this silly question...
I just started using Firefox and I seem to recall that there is a way to block the ads completely with it...

:shrug:

is anyone in the know?

In Tools drop-down menu, select
Options

On Content tab,
Check mark in box beside "Block pop-up windows"

I have been using it for several years.
Does everything it is supposed to do, with no problems, and easy as pie to install and start to use, no set up issues.
It has its own "block list".
