Inflation...The Big Lie
Cost of living going up faster than ever, but you'd never know it if you depended on the government to inform you. Utilities, food, clothes, fuel, the cost of dying are facts of life to you and me, but the government don't factor these things in when they figure up what it really does cost little Joey Six-pack or old Grand-pa Grump to exist. When is the last time you demanded a 35% raise over the past three years and got it, like the power company or the gas company or the water company? The REALITY is, INFLATION is a runaway freight train.

The folks on Social Security know that they have already taken some big cuts. They are being lied to about the cost of living and dying...and they know it.

1. Agreed
The country's latest method of weight loss is the combination of rising gasoline & grocery prices. If you cannot afford to get to the store or buy the groceries................

When the Federal Reserve prints more money, and injects into the economy.

5. Our government..
... has been understating inflation (CPI) since the Clinton days, maybe before. They've merely perfected the art of overweighting things that are going down in price and underweighting things that are going up.

The printing that the Fed is doing right now is most of the problem. Isn't it funny when commodities are rising in price when almost everything else if falling. The Fed will keep printing because there is really no other choice in their minds. As soon as the printing stops the economy stops. Of course, the printing will cause a worse stop, but that could be months or years away and kicking the can is the name of the game.

6. Wars, tax cuts for the wealthy and the corporations, costs money...

The powers that be want the elderly, who have paid their FICA and Medicare taxes because they were promised security in their old age, to starve and suffer. Meanwhile the fat cats and the "Have Mores" skate away unharmed. I hope I live long enough to see the American people get tired of the political bullies kicking sand in their faces and stand up for the people who earned their benefits.

food and energy are up like crazy. that's the economy that affects most of us big time.

but electronic gadgets are down. that's the economy that impacts the rich.

so it all averages out, see, what's the problem?

:sarcasm:

That "Reality" and their fudgy math, is about as stupid as their fake employment figures.

The Government can't handle the truth...because the truth makes the government look as bad as it has really become.

If you or I functioned on our jobs, the way politicians do these days, nothing would ever get done.

Edit...We should fire them all for lying.
