How have ReTHUGS convinced people that the Bush tax cuts
are good for the economy.

This jackass ReTHUG on GEM$NBComcast calls Medicare, Medicaid and Social Security sacred cows but tax breaks for the rich are saving the economy.

I'd let the debt ceiling fail rather than give in to failed ReTHUG ideological posturing.

2. They haven't, as numerous polls have suggested; they are ignoring

their constituents (edit to add, except the rich ones). Same as it ever was.

3. This has nothing to do with the people,
other than that's who'll have to bear the burden.

4. I Keep Hearing About How The ONLY Way To Save The Economy Is To Cut Taxes
And every time I respond, "we've been living under the Bush tax cuts for 10 years; where is this strong economy you keep promising?" I get some mealy-mouthed answer containing yet another RW talking point.

The sad truth is that some people would rather believe the Republican Party talking points than their own lying eyes. They complain about the bad economy out of one side of their mouths and then sing the praises of tax cuts out of the other. There's no reaching these people. There are none so blind as those who will not see.

7. they're being played. I hope you keep telling it like it is-
because even if they seem not to be listening, if enough people keep point out the facts, it gets hard to ignore.

6. I don't think they have. They've simply not allowed the tax-cuts to
be the lead message. They play on the sensational issues to distract and divide the country.

The bigotry of DOMA, Immigration, God, and the illusion of "family values". They use these to fire up their base and paint ANY agreement with Democratic ideals as the equivalent of 'satanic'-

It's frustrating that Democrats don't have the unshakable loyalty that Republicans do sometimes, but it is also what makes us ..."better". imo

8. They had to "convince" only one person: Obama. It worked.
